Leveraging our patented SecureTier certificate repository, our solution can automatically encrypt and decrypt all email communication between our customers. No web portals to navigate, no secured PDF attachments, no extra passwords to enter.
The SecureMail Gateway servers at our customer sites automate the encryption and decryption process. They utilize the certificates discovered from SecureTier to automatically secure emails. On the recipient’s side, the SecureMail Gateway uses the recipient’s private key to decipher the encrypted message and deliver it to the recipient’s mail server. All of this is done completely automatically, with no extra steps needed by the sender or recipient.
Providing an additional layer of security, our encryption solutions also include advanced Data Leak Prevention (DLP) capabilities. This software scans all emails and their attachments for sensitive content like Social Security numbers, credit cards, medical terms, private financial information, etc. Administrators can easily set up rules to automatically encrypt messages containing any combination specified content.
Certificates are not only useful for securing communications, but also for digital “signatures”. An individual with a digital certificate can utilize the private key to create a unique digital signature of any electronic communication or document. This process is used on all emails secured with GlobalCerts’ solutions, but it can also be used for signing PDF documents. This type of signature goes way beyond the traditional ‘eSignature’ you may see with other solutions like DocuSign®. Our partner Uniksign only issues certificates after highly scrutinized user verification. These digital certificates are then used to sign electronic documents in a secured workflow, creating an ‘ironclad’ link between the signer and the document, even better than a paper and ink signature.
While a simple eSignature may be fine in some circumstances, chances are that its credibility may not hold up if questioned in a court of law. Our highly secure Lawfice solution meets the needs of legal professionals, financial institutions, broker-dealers, and even court systems.
